New Directions in Health

April 1 @ 11:00 am - 6:00 pm AEDT

$50.00 – $80.00

ASF’s “New Directions in Health” workshop is a manifestation of what ASF is all about: we aim to promote an optimistic and determined orientation towards generating practical ideas for solutions, brainstormed with committed, thoughtful, and knowledgeable others, that yield viable alternatives for meeting human and social needs in the various areas that so badly require change today in Australia and the West more broadly. In this first in-person ASF workshop of 2024, the focus is on new solutions in health. Presenters at this intimate workshop will cover topics ranging from alternative health delivery, insurance, and quality assurance mechanisms, to how we relate to the sun, to new ideas and positive approaches in mental health care, Aboriginal health care, and dentistry. We hope to emerge from this workshop with practical ideas that can be further developed and discussed, vetted and piloted within families and communities, and eventually feed into building alternatives to the present dysfunctional healthcare system.

Tickets

  • $80 for non-ASF members
  • $50 for ASF members – (you will need to log in before purchasing if you are an ASF member)
