    Rocco is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Curtin Law School. Previously he was also a lecturer in the Masters of Translation Studies at the University of Western Australia (UWA). After graduating with a combined Law and Languages (Honours) degree, he practised as a lawyer for ten years, most of that time at Clayton Utz. He has a PhD in the difficulties of translation across European continental legal systems and the English common law, and he is a certified NAATI translator (Italian > English). Rocco also has an abiding interest in matters concerning politics, fundamental freedoms and the rule of law, contributing regularly on these issues for the Spectator Australia, Quadrant, the Epoch Times and several Australian daily newspapers, as well as Sky News Australia and ADH TV.
