As we seem to hurtle towards the end of the year, there are still plenty of ways you can learn and connect with like-minded others in 2025.
First and foremost, our 3rd annual Progress through Science and Freedom Conference will take place from 21 through 23 November at UNSW in Sydney. Session themes include academic freedom, Indigenous welfare, new education initiatives, tackling apathy in the media and legal sectors, community regeneration initiatives, a selection of scholarly research sessions on “unfavoured” (according to mainstream science) research topics, and a brainstorming session about education system redesign taking direct input from conference attendees. We have intentionally set regular ticket prices far below what it costs per person to run our conference, so we greatly appreciate your help in identifying potential sponsors. For Melbournians, don’t miss ASF’s second Australian screening of Covid Collateral – a documentary film out of Canada – followed by a Q&A session with some of Australia’s most courageous voices who experienced firsthand the sort of cancellation, denigration, and suppression that the film documents. In the past month, our affiliated higher education initiative headquartered in Belgium, Academia Libera Mentis, has begun a substack with half a dozen entertaining entries already published about what it is like to try to set up a new academy. Enjoy this free (for now!) series of stories about learning, community-building, state-sponsored espionage, gardens, painting, romance, and more, all penned by ALM founders, supporters, and students.
Also this month, ASF’s Gigi Foster was featured on The Truth Contract with David Carter, talking about the costs of lockdowns and much more. You may have also seen her speaking on stage along with others at the Australia Unites Against Government Corruption march on 13 September in Sydney.
Here at home, the past month brought the opportunity to voice opinions about the ill-conceived proposed new Australian CDC (ASF’s submission is number 15 here), for which enabling legislation was introduced to the Senate. The Department of Health, Disability, and Ageing has oh-so-kindly offered this explainer of the legislation. On top of this, the WHO’s ill-conceived International Health Regulations assumed a binding status in Australia as of 19 September, with outstanding grassroots attempts to block the subservience of Australia’s health policy to this international body (especially attempts by the Aligned Council of Australia and Australia Exits the WHO) being as-yet unsuccessful.
Overseas this month, the Trump administration and RFK Jr in particular have continued to lay into the mainstream “health” powers strangulating actual human wellbeing. It is sometimes hard to tell if they are leading or following the US political winds, as Rasmussen polling now indicates that over 50% of Americans believe that the covid shots caused deaths, and even Johns Hopkins University recently hosted a somewhat critical discussion about covid policy. Climate change and acetaminophen (paracetamol) have also been in Trump’s cross-hairs in recent days. ASF’s friend Jay Bhattacharya (Director of the US National Institutes of Health) gave a rousing speech this month about the centrality of free speech in science, and Florida’s surgeon general Joe Ladapo announced a broad effort to end vaccines mandates in the state. Finally in the US, the tragic murder in broad daylight of Charlie Kirk, a conservative young advocate of peaceful self-expression and dialogue, left America reeling.
In New Zealand, the Royal Commission of Inquiry into COVID-19 Lessons Learned has moved into Phase 2, which is allegedly specifically focussed on “providing lessons learned to decisions made.” You can download the information-packed People’s Position, courtesy of Reality Check Radio, here. An online press conference in October being organised in Germany but involving groups from around the world, entitled the World Journey of Truth about mRNA Vaccines, will feature participation by groups from 20 countries around the world (including ASF) – more details here.
In academic writing this month, papers have appeared quantifying the DNA contamination in the covid shots, investigating the shots’ effects on the central nervous system, demonstrating a link between the shots and cancers of various types, and debunking the claim that the shots saved millions of lives.
If you have not yet come across Petra Buesken’s ‘Veriditas’ podcast, you may like to check it out; amongst many other guests, she has interviewed at least two ASF directors. If you’re in Sydney, consider joining the Good Knights on 1 October with special guests Craig Kelly and Charlie Teo.
Finally, Covid Through Our Eyes (edited by Melissa McCann and Robert Clancy) will be launched in November in Queensland; and you may enjoy Making the Cut, a new book on medicine and what is needed to heal it, by Brownstone Institute author Aaron Kheriaty, MD. And in film this month, An Inconvenient Study and Inside mRNA Vaccines would, in a sane world, be blockbusters.
