Only one month to go to our third “Progress through Science and Freedom” Conference (21-23 Nov)! If you haven’t already registered for this exciting event featuring an amazing line-up of speakers and focusing on education, media, Indigenous welfare, courageous research and community wellbeing, you can secure your tickets here. Tickets are priced to make the event as accessible as possible, but to cover our running costs requires donations and sponsorship beyond regular ticket sales. If you or someone you know are able to support the conference financially, that would help greatly. The easiest way to sponsor the 2025 Progress through Science and Freedom Conference is to purchase a corporate or individual VIP “sponsorship ticket” at the conference website.
On the back of ASF’s sold-out Sydney screening of the documentary film Covid Collateral, the Melbourne ASF team organised a screening of the same film on 4 October that also sold out. Screenings in more cities may be on the cards for 2026!
Last week, ASF co-directors Gigi Foster and David Richards testified on behalf of ASF before the Joint Standing Committee on Treaties in relation to Australia’s adoption of amendments to the International Health Regulations. Gigi was also one of 30 speakers at an international press conference of a German health group calling for a moratorium on mRNA vaccines. There are signs that the covid tide is slowly turning as mainstream news outlets are publishing articles that cite critical voices without the usual ‘safe and effective’ mantra, for example this article discussing former Victorian CHO Brett Sutton’s recent admission that most covid measures were unnecessary, and this recent article which cites Dr Aseem Malhotra, who has called for a global moratorium on covid vaccines and urged governments and medical bodies to formally apologise for pushing the substances and dismissing the warnings of critical doctors.
But the fight is far from over, as pharma giant Pfizer announced a 3-year investment agreement with the current US administration, even as studies continue to be released demonstrating the harms of their best-selling recent product.
In other international news, a petition has been launched in the New Zealand Parliament calling for the withdrawal of all covid injectable products from the market; in Canada, We Unify is continuing its freedom of speech speaker series on 3 Dec; and in the US, over 550 celebrities relaunched the Committee for the First Amendment in defense of free speech.
There’s a new book on vaccines by US lawyer Aaron Siri: ‘Vaccines, Amen – the Religion of Vaccines’. Finally, you might be interested in watching Bettina Arndt’s video showing Malcom Roberts exposing feminist bias in the Australian Institute of Family Studies’ research on family violence.
