Our third annual “Progress through Science and Freedom” conference, held at UNSW on 21-23 November, was a resounding success. Presenters and attendees from all across Australia came together to discuss education, health, indigenous advancement, community building and the media, and together we focused on how we can bring about positive change in all those important areas. In this year’s workshop we brainstormed ideas on how education, one of the essential pillars of society, can be redesigned and restored to functionality. Recordings of the conference, photos, and a summary of the fruitful results of the education workshop will be released in due course – stay tuned to these newsletters to be kept up to date.
Speaking of education, ASF is supporting the restoration of small-community, pro-social tertiary education at Academia Libera Mentis, which is having an Open Day on 30 November. The ALM team also has a new book coming out soon, that you can pre-order here.
Following on from the book launch on 17 November in Queensland, we recommend Covid Through Our Eyes – An Australian Story of Mistakes, Mistreatment and Misinformation, edited by Prof. Robert Clancy and Dr. Melissa McCann. You can now also pre-order John Leake’s Mind Viruses: America’s Irrational Obsessions, which examines the social, spiritual, and technological forces that have propagated the psychic epidemics psychologist Carl Jung warned about back in 1957. At our recent conference there were nearly 30 different books for sale, including David Maywald’s recently launched The Relentless War on Masculinity and so many others. Calls for the cessation of mRNA and other vaccinations are supported by ever more medical research, for example here, here, here, here, here and here. In relation to covid testing, this study suggests that only 10-14% of those who tested positive were actually infected.
Amongst some causes you may wish to support, there are two ‘Put Australia First’ rallies taking place in Sydney and Melbourne this weekend with a focus on sensible immigration reform, freedom from enforced digital ID, and affordable energy. With the social media age verification laws about to kick in on 10 December, you may wish to support this petition by the Liberal National Coalition and this one by the Digital Freedom Project. Also, Stand Up Now Australia has launched this petition aimed at ensuring there are guardrails around the new Australian Centre for Disease Control which will begin full operations in 2026 (and about which ASF submitted a petition to Parliament here).
Overseas, the UK Covid Inquiry has released an unsurprisingly disappointing report, in which one of the main conclusions is that the country should have locked down sooner than it did. Go figure! Meanwhile, the UK Health Security Agency refused to publish data that could indicate the covid jabs are linked to excess deaths. In Canada, an Ontarian group of researchers has found that the covid response had a devastating effect on cancer patients, while in Alberta, the Alberta Prosperity Project has published a fiscal plan, titled ‘The Value of Freedom’, for splitting from Canada to set up a new independent country. Remarkably, the US CDC has updated its website to correct the long-standing unproven claim that ‘vaccines do not cause autism’ – it makes for very interesting reading indeed. A recent phone survey has found that 68% of adult Americans got the jab, with 10% reporting major side effects.
