On Tuesday this week at our monthly ASF Members’ Forum, members heard from Murray Hancock of The Brisbane Dialogues and the Dialogues@Schools initiatives that aim to elevate the quality of public discussion about important social issues (all schools are welcome to join the latter program – please pass the word along to members of school leadership in your circles); and from Belinda Hawkins about P.S.H. therapy, a novel approach to healing deep scars (anyone, regardless of background, can train to help others through this method) – along with updates on several other ASF-led and ASF-supported initiatives, including the upcoming Restoring the Presumption of Innocence conference (further details below), the exciting new higher-education venture, Nova Academia (further details below) and our ongoing work on the Trilogy project and on crafting a submission to the upcoming Australian Senate’s Excess Deaths inquiry. (Previous submissions to the Senate’s Covid-19 Royal Commission Terms of Reference (TOR) inquiry made by ASF and the broader team led by Julian Gillespie, the latter under the moniker The People’s Terms of Reference, were cited numerous times in that committee’s recent report. After our groundbreaking inaugural conference in November last year (written up here and here (18th April issue)), ASF’s most recent in-person event, our Easter Monday New Directions in Health workshop (with special guest John Campbell), was a great success. For the particular benefit of those who couldn’t be there, we will be releasing a pamphlet on our website in the coming weeks with rough transcriptions and summaries of our discussions, which can be used as a starting point to build upon our ideas and further develop practical strategies for bringing to life new approaches and institutions to support Australians’ health.
The Aligned Council of Australia, being led by Stand Up Australia with ASF’s support, is focussed on a few core activities in the coming month to fight the WHO’s IHR amendments being approved in Australia (see here for some grassroots resistance, supported by this medical school emeritus professor, in a similar vein in Japan, and here for a US state flatly refusing to accept the WHO’s jurisdiction within its borders) – taking dot points verbatim from ACA’s correspondence:
- National Action Week – 6-12 May – an activity each day
- Australia’s greatest letterbox drop – 2 million copies of a flyer re the WHO power grab to be made available for distribution during April and May culminating in a National Letterbox Drop day 12 May; there will also be an interactive website for people to volunteer
- David Bell is confirmed to participate in a panel on Sat 11 May along with some others TBC
- Calling for volunteers around the country to act as Electoral Representatives and Coordinators (2 roles per electorate) – send expressions of interest to nera@alignedcouncilofAustralia.com.au.

Nova Academia update: In the past few months, again taking dot points verbatim from NA”s founders:
- We have built a website (novacad.org) that lists events, programs, many videos, articles, etc.
- We have built a research mentorship program of nearly 20 international academics (expanding rapidly) who offer particular cooperation (joint papers, book reading, artwork) to anyone in the world. A kind of research speed-dating within Team Sanity, an ongoing resource of great potential use to the students and academics in your organisation.
- We have bought a castle in Belgium (chateau Hodbomont) to house the 1-year campus programs which will start in September 2024. We had an inauguration with many luminaries on April 6th and the first day of teaching on April 7th where we showcased what we have in mind as a regular learning day.
- We have built an academic faculty to teach critical thinking, statistics, economics, and health. They are organised into a general program for all students in the first 6 months (critical thinking, statistics, and the basic ideas of social science) and two branches (economics and health). We have also built a teaching core for personal and community development, including music, arts, sports, etc.
- We have flyers to explain and advertise the economics program, with 3 different groups of students in mind. Gap Year (18-20 year olds), Finishing School (22-28 year olds), and Avant Garde (‘Team Sanity’ students aged 18-30).
- We have several ‘taster sessions’ (April 28th, May 18th, May 19th) on location, and 1-week ‘bootcamps’ (one end of June, two in July, and two in August) to select both students and faculty, doubling up as exploration weeks around themes like music and gardening. See novacad.org/events
- There is a Student Association for aspiring students called ‘Societas Liberi Mentis’ run by Bonne Cato and other young students. They organise camps, research, debating events, personal development, online events, etc.. Potential Nova Academia students from anywhere in the world can join (at https://chat.whatsapp.com/G8VUCMAUDCUJEOEfHT3T7G or https://discord.gg/hYVWGhgR). Ideal for interested students who cannot make it to the physical events and still want to taste the vibe, or for students who have been to events and want to remain actively involved.

Other resources of potential interest include this group of doctors in New Zealand and this project tracking US tumour-related deaths. Reality Check Radio in New Zealand is doing a major fund-raiser, featuring a period in which they are off air, to underscore the need for financial supporters. (NB if you like what we are doing, please support ASF!)
Further on the international news front, the US FDA was forced to take down anti-ivermectin information including its infamous “Seriously, y’all. Stop it” post, years too late; the University of California system is being taken to court over its covid shot mandates; a court-ordered document release shows Germany’s public health agency knew in 2020 that lockdowns could be more harmful than covid itself, and that no evidence supported FFP2 masking at scale, but hid this knowledge from public view; and Reiner Fuellmich has addressed his supporters from prison. As proof that ideologically driven exclusion and smearing is no one human group’s exclusive province, Candace Owens has been kicked off the Daily Wire and demonised as anti-semitic for remarks that a reasonable person could interpret as morally sound and patriotic. Meanwhile, recent published literature has found that mRNA technology may be oncogenic and the mRNA shots carcinogenic; and admitted a potential link between the covid shots and “long covid”. As the dam holding back scientifically accurate information about the covid shots continues to break, a Malaysian doctor has apologised to his country for his part in the vaccine roll-out, and a small legal win was had in Victoria. Still, mainstream scientific writing continues to support anti-health protocols, laws, and behaviours.

News about our exciting conference
After much deliberation, The Australian Institute of Science and Freedom and Mothers of Sons have made the difficult decision to reschedule our conference on Restoring the Presumption of Innocence. It will now take place on August 31, 2024. The venue and place remain the same.
The hostile media attacks following the announcement of the conference and attempt by professional agitators to close the event down has detracted from the important goal of our conference – namely to draw attention to the current crisis in our justice system.
As I have explained, right now 400 current sexual assault cases are being audited by NSW public prosecutors to determine whether, as 6 judges have claimed, such cases are being pushed through to trial without proper evidence. The judicial system is under the spotlight and the time is right for proper public discussion about how our democratic right to the presumption of innocence is being eroded.
Our conference was never about any one individual and the bizarre overreaction to the proposed inclusion of Bruce Lehrmann in our program was all about trying to divert attention from the important issues we are raising. We will not allow activists to highjack the vital agenda to be discussed by the unique panel of experts appearing at our conference and, for this reason, Lehrmann has decided not to speak.
It is in the interests of audience and our brave speakers to postpone the conference for a few months to allow the dust to settle and provide us with the opportunity to reach out to thoughtful individuals who might like to join this unique event.
We are now reopening ticket sales to allow more people to attend. Here’s the link. We will have more measures in place to protect everyone attending, creating a safe environment for civilized discussion.
We are writing to ticket holders to inform them of this change and hope most will be able to attend on the revised date. Those unable to attend on the rescheduled date can receive a full refund. We very much regret any inconvenience this decision may have caused all our participants.
It’s very heartening that our speakers are still on board, despite the flak some have received. And we have had a flood of people keen to participate so we will be making some changes to the lineup.
The event is definitely going ahead. We have already sold sufficient tickets to make this a huge success, with our fundraiser helping to ensure we have the funds to cover costs. Thanks so much to all our generous donors. We hope many more people will now join us for this historic conference.
