ASF Submission in Support of Vaccine Indemnity Bill

The ASF publishes the following submission in support of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Amendment (Vaccine Indemnity) Bill 2023, which would amend the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 to provide that indemnities cannot be granted to manufacturers of vaccines in relation to the use of a vaccine.

The Senate Finance and Public Administration Committee is currently holding a public inquiry, with the report due 18 March 2024.
